REPORT OVERVIEW & KEY
The PowerView Report is an aggregate or composite view of your training participants deigned to help you:
-
Identify which behaviors are being adopted by your participants
-
Quantify the bottom line impact (eg, revenue gain)
-
Determine where support is needed
Capturing a complete and accurate picture of your training impact requires looking at both behaviors and outcomes. At the core of the Beyond ROI methodology and the PowerView Report is the link between cause and effect:

DEFINITE DIFFERENCE COMPARISON:
This two-pronged measurement approach using leading and lagging indicators allows us to isolate training impact from outside factors and to pinpoint differences between high-adopters and lower-adopters - and when your participant pool is large enough (100+), the money-making skills that your top performers employ.
CERTIFIED BEYOND ROI RESULTS:
All Beyond ROI results are certified with the highest standards for confidentiality, data integrity, analytical rigor, and accuracy. Participant information is stored on secure servers and delivered or shared with proper client notification to protect individual and organizational privacy.
POWERVIEW RATING SCALE:
This rating scale is used to gauge each participant's effective use of the program training skills. As you read through your PowerView Report, think in terms of:
How often are your participants are successfully applying each skill or a category of skills?
OVERALL SKILL APPLICATION
Customer behavior is the most objective and accurate indicator of a participant's actual use of the program skills. For this reason, the Beyond ROI methodology leverages questions that focus on the desired outcome of applying each skills rather than the participant's perception of their use of the skill.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
This is the big picture - an aggregated view across all participant responses - which demonstrates how often your participants are successful at applying the program skills. Specifically, the graph shows:
-
Overall Application...The percent of time your participants are successful in applying all of the program skills on average.
-
Average by Skill Category... The percent of time your participants are successful in applying skills within each skill category.
-
Benchmark Comparison... How your participants compare with the overall Corporate Visions benchmark (xxx).
HOW DO I USE IT?
Use this to identify and understand - at a big picture level - strengths and opportunities for growth:
-
Strengths... Where your participants have become effective in applying in the program skills (ie, they are at or above their average and the benchmark), consider leveraging their successes as case studies and peer-to-peer mentoring.
-
Growth Opportunities... Where your participants are still struggling to effectively apply the program skills (ie, they are below their average and the benchmark), consider focusing additional efforts to strengthen skill application such as coaching, eLearning, or additional trainings.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Better business results is the #1 driving force of every sales training initiative - and capturing the impact to your business is why Beyond ROI exists. As with skill application, we employ a methodology that moves beyond participant perception alone to capture actual business outcomes. Participants are asked to share a success story that outlines the situation, the training skills and approaches they used, the results achieved (financial and anecdotal), and the lessons learned.

Impact on Success
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Recognizing that many factors can and will affect the outcome of a sales opportunity, we take a conservative approach to determining the financial impact of the training program. This chart illustrates your participants' perceived value of the training on the success of the specific situations they shared.
HOW DOES BEYOND ROI USE IT?
Your participants' perceived training value/impact is used to calibrate or factor the total value of the opportunities they shared. For example, if participants shared $10M in success stories and indicated their training skills had some (50%) impact, the total factored value reported is $5M ($10M x 50% = $5M).
Collectively, we refer to the approach of gathering success stories (ie, capturing training skills in practice) and factoring the value of those situations as the RealityCheck.
Success Story Summary
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Your participants are asked to categorize (and quantify) the value of the success story they share: New Opportunity, Progressed Opportunity, Won/Closed Opportunity. With the table above, you can easily identify the total value of opportunities in each category and the total factored value of all success stories shared by your participants.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Because participants are asked to share only one success story, the total dollars do not represent the full impact of the training program. They value shown does, however, illustrate the nature of the impact the training program is having on your desired business results and financial outcomes.
SUCCESS STORY APPENDIX
WHAT IS THIS?
This Appendix to the PowerView Report includes:
-
Success story details submitted by all participants who shared a success story.
-
Each participant's self-selected top challenge/priority for growth within each skill category
HOW DO I USE IT?
This is appendix is a great resource for managers and sales leaders to use as individual coaching tools. The success stories can also serve as a building block for case studies to be shared among participants.
